World Craft is a series of articles, started in June of 2009, which examine the steps required to create a campaign setting from scratch. By following the steps in these articles, a dungeon master can easily create a lively and fresh world in which to set their adventures.
In addition to each set of instructions, every article also includes follow-up work for the reader, to better help them keep on track while they bring their setting to life. As well, examples are included in the form of Penumbra: a new campaign setting based around a world that is slowly becoming consumed by the Plane of Shadows.
